| description |
|
Located in Independence Square in New Marigny, this project proposes housing four new schools in one complex. Shared facilities among the four schools are designed to maximize efficiency and minimize redundancy. One of the four schools is envisioned as an international youth hostel that would host exchange programs with other middle schools worldwide. This school also offers boarding facilities for students from troubled homes. In its architectural forms, the design of the complex emphasizes the physical bonds among the different schools as well as the intellectual and emotional bonds among their students, creating a unique series of interlinked spaces that symbolize cooperative learning.
