| description |
|
Students in a first-year design studio were assigned to read Why New Orleans Matters by Tom Piazza and asked to choose a quote from the book as inspiration for a design response. The chosen quotations were to provide thematic guidance that would inform, provoke, stimulate, and direct their projects for a memorial space at the location of the levee breach in the Lower Ninth Ward.
